Purpose of the role: The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of the organization's physical infrastructure. This role involves overseeing various aspects such as electrical systems, fire safety, water supply, waste management, cleaning, security, access control, CCTV surveillance, contractor management, groundskeeping, and pest control, in compliance with Singapore's regulations and international standards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The Facilities Manager will embody and promote the company's core values of safety, collaboration, excellence, integrity, and respect. This role involves managing both the facilities and maintenance teams to ensure that buildings, equipment, and other facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, in compliance with relevant Singapore legislation. Job Description: Main Accountabilities Drive HSE performance and ensure that every day at work is a safe day Enforce safety protocols, in collaboration with the regional HSEQ manager, to ensure a secure working environment. Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and other facilities. Develop and implement facility and maintenance management policies and procedures. Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Coordinate with external contractors and service providers. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA) and other relevant Singapore legislation. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and maintenance operations. Plan and oversee renovations, refurbishments, and maintenance projects. Manage facility and maintenance-related projects from inception to completion. Supervise and support facilities and maintenance staff. Respond to facility and maintenance-related emergencies and issues. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment. Manage facilities contracts, including negotiation, execution, and monitoring of service agreements with external vendors and contractors. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that services are delivered in accordance with agreed terms and conditions Facilities Electrical Systems : Ensure all electrical systems are maintained, safe, and compliant with the Building Control Act and Regulations. Fire Safety : Implement and manage fire safety protocols, including alarms, extinguishers, and evacuation plans, in accordance with the Fire Safety Act. Water Management : Oversee the management of water supply, plumbing, and water quality, ensuring compliance with the Public Utilities Act. Waste Management : Develop and implement waste disposal and recycling programs in line with the Environmental Public Health Act and ISO 14001 standards. Cleaning Services : Ensure all areas are clean and hygienic, managing cleaning staff and services. Security : Manage security personnel and systems to protect the premises. Access Control : Regulate and monitor access to the facility. CCTV Surveillance : Oversee the installation and monitoring of CCTV systems, ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Contractor Management : Oversee and coordinate the work of external contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Groundskeeping : Manage the maintenance of outdoor areas, including landscaping, gardening, and general upkeep. Pest Control : Implement and manage pest control measures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. ISO 14001 Compliance : maintain Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards to enhance environmental performance. ISO 45001 Compliance : Implement and maintain an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in accordance with ISO 45001 standards to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Risk Assessments : Conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments to identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, and implement appropriate control measures. Ensure that all risk assessments are regularly reviewed and updated to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: A degree level qualification in Engineering or alternative related field. Familiar with local HSE requirements and oil & gas industry best practices Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pump systems, internal combustion engines, and electrical systems (12V and 24V) Be able to liaise and communicate with confidence with the various stakeholders Familiar with Lifting gear inspections Experienced in maintaining internal combustion engine and its electrical control system Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
