About the role We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our global team. Your role will involve conceptualising, designing, and delivering visually compelling and innovative graphics for reports, presentations, marketing materials, and other branded assets that align with the company’s visual identity and goals, as well as client and project-specific brand guidelines. Reporting to the Business Development and Communications Manager, you will work closely in a collaborative environment to continuously develop and enhance our brand identity. Responsibilities:

1. Brand Development: Work closely with the Business Development and Communications Manager to develop and enhance BLR's visual brand identity, ensuring consistency across all visual outputs and collateral.
2. Design Execution: Develop and execute creative concepts, designs, storyboards, mockups, and layouts for marketing campaigns, advertisements, social media, print materials, websites, and other relevant projects.
3. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the overall quality and consistency of visual output, maintaining brand integrity across all deliverables.
4. Client Collaboration: Attend client and team meetings, actively listen to their needs, and ideate innovative visual solutions that meet their expectations.
5. Visual Concept Development: Propose and demonstrate high-level visual concepts that effectively convey the intended message and align with the project's objectives.
6. Innovation and Trends: Stay updated with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to infuse cutting-edge ideas into our work.
7. Time Management: Take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet deadlines.

1. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer (minimum 3 years) within the cultural or creative industries.
2. Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of creativity, conceptualisation, and visual design skills.

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
2. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality visual outputs.
3. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

1. Proficiency in design software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
2. In-depth knowledge of current design trends, visual storytelling, and best practices in graphic design.
3. Experience of working within the Google Suite of products (Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.) is advantageous.
