- Monitor/Verify compliance of the Project Quality Management System in accordance with the client/Specification requirements.
- Enhance the Quality Management System by identifying and monitoring nonconformance performance indicators and feedback, and where applicable, recommending and/or following up corrective actions to meet Quality System objectives.
- Evaluate the need for new procedures, forms, etc., and in preparation, revision, distribution, and withdrawal of the local documentation of the Quality Management System.
- Prepare periodic status reports of quality progress to be discussed during Management Review Meetings.
- Review all complaints, customer feedback, NCR, and/or potential problems; investigate and analyze the root cause, propose corrective actions, and report to the Quality team.
- Coordinate with customers for analysis of customer complaints and follow up on short-term and long-term corrective actions.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with the criteria of the relevant standards and maintain a register of all subcontracting companies.
- Candidate shall have a Mechanical Engineering University Degree or equivalent with direct experience in Quality Assurance system activities and in managing quality systems relating to the Contract Scope of WORK (e.g., oil, gas, and petrochemical projects).
- Shall have an internationally recognized certification in auditing ISO 9001 or equivalent and shall be able to exercise judgment against the criteria of the standards.
- Overall 20 years of work experience or in a nearby range is necessary.
- Candidates should have direct work experience with good EPC Companies and main contractors in the project.
- Candidate should have previous ADNOC approvals for PQM / QAQC Manager roles. Approvals with other Oil & Gas majors will support (e.g., Saudi Aramco).
- Communication and presentation skills should be very good.
- Strong personality and leadership skills.
- Fluent English language communication.
- Quality Assurance work experience and knowledge should be very good. ISO Lead Auditor Certifications are required.
- QC Manager, Supervisors, Inspectors, etc. will work under him.
