Summary: As a Skilled Technician at our resort, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for our guests. You will handle a diverse range of tasks including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance across various property systems. Your commitment to excellence will contribute to exceeding guest expectations and enhancing our brand reputation. Responsibilities:
- Guest Service Excellence: Address guest requests promptly and to their satisfaction, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities and equipment.
- Skill Sets: Utilize expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen equipment, HVAC, laundry systems, boilers, painting, locksmith tasks, and pool/pond maintenance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to optimize functionality and lifespan.
- Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect equipment to assess conditions for repair or replacement needs.
- Training and Compliance: Participate in departmental trainings on equipment and comply with safety and operational standards, including OSHA requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory of supplies and parts.
- Team Support: Assist with repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisors, responding to service requests efficiently.
- General Repair Work: Perform various general repair tasks to uphold property standards and functionality.
- Operational Efficiency: Organize work tasks to ensure all maintenance responsibilities are completed in accordance with operational demands.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC, and other relevant trades.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
