We are seeking a talented and innovative Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing structural designs for a wide range of projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation in our engineering solutions. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute structural designs for various projects including commercial, residential, and mixed-use structures.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
- Utilize advanced structural analysis and design software to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with local UAE building codes, international standards, and best practices.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
- Expertise in UAE and international building codes and standards.
- Advanced mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
- Knowledge of seismic design and analysis.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards.
