You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.In this role, you'll:Work within the Commercial and Supply Chain team of our Engineering and Maintenance branch of Sydney Trains. You will be employed within the Maintenance Contracts team of the division. This team manages in excess of 300 contracts with a total value of over $3 billion, covering routine maintenance, project delivery, operational technology and logistics.This role will see you manage a suite of contracts providing inventory and maintenance services for our Train Fleet. You will work closely with the Logistics division to provide ongoing performance management of suppliers, to ensure the operations division can deliver their maintenance plans.You will conduct regular supplier and contract review meetings, and take actions as necessary to ensure business expectations are met by the suppliers. The use of Ariba and the ability to be hands-on with administration tasks, like processing a variation will also be a part of this role.You are a seasoned Contract Manager with demonstrated experience in managing significant contracts, preferably from Engineering/Construction/Infrastructure/Fleet industry. You will be accustomed to taking a customer focused approach to the management of high value, complex contracts, supporting a large business or government organisation.You will be a highly organised individual with strong communication & influencing skills and a can do attitude. A degree in law, commerce or engineering, and knowledge of Ariba & SAP will be highly regarded.This is a Fixed Term Full-Time role for up to 24 months based in Burwood and Auburn with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!Who we are:Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
