Director - integration program - oceania - apac

This role is responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of a newly acquired business, ensuring smooth alignment of systems, processes, and teams. Focus on driving operational efficiency while supporting DP Oceania’s strategic goals. This role demands strong leadership, adaptability, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and deep technical expertise in program management. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with the program workstreams to plan and execute the required integration initiatives, while proactively identifying and managing program risks and issues. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the integration ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Collaborate with the Steering Committee and Stream Leads to define the target operating model for the integrated business. Partner with Stream Leads to plan and oversee the integration process, monitoring progress, addressing issues, and taking corrective actions as needed. Lead Project Status and Planning forums to track progress, manage risks and issues, and assess project and resource requirements throughout the year. Ensure stakeholders are informed about project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, effectively managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Work alongside the Change and Communications Manager to coordinate the implementation of program changes and ensure successful adoption. Identify and resolve program risks and issues, including developing mitigations and contingency plans. Support the planning process for project assurance activities including phase reviews. Experience, Qualifications and Skills: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management disciplines. Relevant post graduate qualifications preferred. 10+ years of Project Management industry experience. Project Management certification or designation, PMP ideal. Demonstrated success in managing integration timelines, budgets, resources, and risks effectively. Experience in successfully managing a portfolio of projects. Experience in managing a portfolio of Business Projects within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry. Experience with and knowledge of project management principles, methodologies and tools. Experience with large-scale organizational project management efforts. Experience in working in industries that have a similar workforce composition of DP World. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong active listening abilities. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment towards a shared vision or goal. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on operational efficiency.
