About the Role | Mō te tūnga We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Christchurch , covering the greater Christchurch area with occasional remote support work for other regions. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful regions. As a Support Worker, you’ll be at the forefront of our services, providing critical support to victims of crime and traumatic events. This role requires strong empathy, resilience, and exceptional communication skills. You'll work closely with individuals, whānau, and the wider community to advocate for victims' rights and provide the care and support they need. Why Join Us?

A qualification in social services or a related field is highly desirable, as is experience in delivering exceptional client support. Key Details
  • Location :      New Brighton Police Station and other Christchurch Police Stations
  • Salary :            $70,838.25 per annum.
  • Hours :            Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday, or Sunday to Thursday roster.
  • Eligibility :      Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid work visa and pass NZ Police vetting.
