CPA Accounting Lead (Work from Home) - 47225

Schedule: 9 AM - 6 PM, Mondays - Fridays

Salary: 250,000 - 415,000

Required Experience:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong foundation in accounting and finance.
• Proven 5 years experience in an accounting role, preferably in an international environment.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting standards, compliance, and internal controls.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Proficient in accounting software and cloud-based financial tools.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Oversee Accounting Operations – Manage payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure Compliance & Auditing – Stay ahead of local and international accounting regulations, handling tax filings and audits.
• Drive Financial Insights – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Lead Budgeting & Forecasting – Work closely with the Finance Director to develop financial strategies.
• Streamline Processes – Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices for smoother operations.
• Collaborate Across Teams – Support financial decision-making across departments.
• Team Leadership – Supervise a team of 4 accounting staff, assign tasks, manage workflows, and provide mentorship.
• Report to Japan HQ – Work closely with the Person-in-Charge (PIC) in Japan to ensure financial transparency and alignment.
