Salesforce Administrator - Back End Support

BASIC FUNCTION: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator with expertise in back-end operations and a strong focus on maintaining the health and performance of our Salesforce environment. This role is less user-facing and more focused on the technical maintenance, deployments, and DevOps support required to keep our Salesforce org running smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced in using tools to support a Salesforce development team. JOB DETAILS:
- Work From Home (Remote)
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (9:00 AM to 6:00 AM Manila Time)
- Holiday Observance: Philippine Holiday
- Perform regular Salesforce org maintenance, including sandbox refreshes, monitoring org health, and resolving system issues.
- Manage deployments using tools such as SFDX and Ant Migration Tool.
- Ensure Salesforce backups are performed and secure, leveraging appropriate backup tools.
- Monitor for errors and respond to integration failures, ensuring seamless data flow between Salesforce and other systems.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to identify, troubleshoot, and patch bugs.
- Manage release updates and ensure the Salesforce environment is up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of DevOps tools used in Salesforce development workflows.
- Develop and maintain custom applications using Salesforce Platform tools, adhering to best practices.
- Document processes, configurations, and system updates to ensure a clear operational knowledge base.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
- Strong experience with SFDX, Ant Migration Tool, and other Salesforce deployment tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce backup solutions and DevOps tools.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, and API capabilities.
- Experience monitoring and maintaining system performance and error resolution.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on working with technical teams.
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Integration Architecture Designer).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and supporting tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security best practices.
