Sharepoint SPFx

Role responsibilities:

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Node JS, and related technologies to build SPFx web parts, extensions, and applications.
• Ability to develop and deploy CSOM/JSOM, Rest-based, React JS and SPFx applications.
• Experience in writing and executing PowerShell scripts.
• Good with modern collaboration tools in an agile environment (e.g., GitHub, JIRA).
• SharePoint Integration: Integrate SPFx solutions with SharePoint Online environment and On Premises, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
• User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX): Build visually appealing and adaptable user interfaces that improve the overall user experience of SharePoint sites.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of SPFx solutions to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize SPFx applications for performance and scalability to ensure smooth user experiences.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive user documentation for SPFx solutions, including design specifications, code documentation, and user guides.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint development trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the development team, business system analyst, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
• Validated experience as an SPFx Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful SharePoint Framework projects.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies. Solid understanding of SharePoint Online development, including SharePoint REST APIs and MS Graph.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Framework tools like Node.js, Yeoman, Gulp, and Webpack.
• Experience with SharePoint PnP (Patterns and Practices) and SharePoint SPFx Extensions is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure Functions or Azure App Services for backend integration
• Develop and implement custom solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate
• Automate workflows and business processes.
• Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends.
• Provide technical insights and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, configure, and document SharePoint/Power Platform implementations.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented, maintained, and audited utilizing the client’s governance guidance.
• Serve as a SharePoint SME on future projects and initiatives by gathering requirements, creating specs and ensuring successful delivery.
• Understand Application lifecycle management for Power platform.

• Overall, 5-8 years of IT experience in Microsoft technologies.
• At least 4 years of experience in SPFx and Power platform development.
• Ability to develop custom web parts, extensions, and templates using SPFx.
• Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Understanding of the SPFx development toolchain, including Node.js, NPM, Yeoman, Gulp, and webpack
• Experience integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services like Teams and Viva Connections.
• Proficiency in using REST APIs and PnP JS for data access and manipulation.
• Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint
• Experience with common data service, data connectors.
• Solid knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and adapt to new tools and frameworks.
