Sales Manager – South India (Location: Bangalore) About the Job Company Description Travesla is a cutting-edge airline/travel representation and marketing firm that leverages both physical and digital ("phygital") solutions to deliver exceptional ROI for airlines & travel brands, even with budget constraints. Role Overview We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth in assigned travel products and solutions across South India. This role involves achieving ambitious sales targets, exploring new markets, and establishing new sales channels to expand Travesla’s footprint in the Indian market. Reporting Structure This position will initially report to the Founder & CEO and transition to reporting to the General Manager . Key Responsibilities

  1. Represent Travesla in South India, building the company’s profile among key stakeholders such as travel agents, corporate buyers, and online platforms.
  2. Promote Travesla’s full range of product offerings, providing education and insights to partners on effective usage.
  3. Lead and manage a team of sales executives and managers in the assigned market.
  4. Achieve revenue targets for the South India region in alignment with company objectives.
  5. Develop relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other sales channels to boost visibility and drive sales.
  6. Build and maintain strong partnerships with agents, corporate travel managers, and other stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and sales performance.
  7. Identify and establish new sales channels to drive growth in the designated region.
  8. Contribute to strategic market planning and ensure the achievement of revenue and sales targets.
  9. Provide regular sales reporting and updates to the senior management team.
  10. Conduct competitor analysis to ensure products remain competitive, innovative, and market-aligned.
  11. Handle additional duties and responsibilities as needed within the scope of the role.
  12. Coach and mentor team members to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  13. Support cross-functional business initiatives, including market impact assessments and roll-out plans.
  14. Offer strategic input to senior management on scalable and efficient processes to improve operations.
Applicant Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional management qualification is preferred. Experience :
  • 8–10 years of proven success in travel sales or related industries, particularly in the South India region.
  • Strong relationships with stakeholders in South India’s travel industry will be an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes :
  • Proven ability to acquire and maintain successful business relationships with travel agents and corporate clients.
  • Experience in developing sales channels, including corporate travel departments.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to the region is advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
