Site Electrical Manager Job Description Job Title: Site Electrical Manager Location: Eastern Province, KSA Join Linxon! We combine AtkinsRéalis project management expertise and Hitachi Energy’s deep technological knowledge to create a company dedicated to substations – we are Linxon! Role Overview: Electrical Manager to oversee the installation of a 380 KV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS). He/She shall have extensive experience in high-voltage substation projects, ensuring all activities meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities:

  1. Site Management: Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of the substation site during installation and commissioning.
  2. Technical Oversight: Supervise the installation of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry/client standards.
  3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the quality and reliability of installations.
  4. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce strict Linxon and Client safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.
  5. Coordination: Collaborate with design engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  6. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of installation activities, test results, and project progress.
  7. Training and Supervision: Provide guidance and training to installation teams.
  8. Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning process, including testing and validation of all systems.
Experience and Education Required:
  1. 10 Years experience in EHV 380 KV GIS Substations projects, including Civil Construction.
  2. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  3. Project Management Certification, or a PMP certification is preferred.
  4. Experience with major Clients in KSA SEC, ARAMCO, and Royal Commission.
  5. Experience in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
  6. Proven track record of management of large-scale, multimillion-SAR projects.
  7. C1 or C2 permit holder is a plus.
  8. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, substation components, and industry standards.
  9. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  10. Familiar with project management and planning software and tools.
This position requires working on-site at the substation location, with occasional travel to project meetings and stakeholder consultations. The role involves exposure to high-voltage equipment and requires adherence to strict safety protocols.
