Our happy, supportive, and tremendously successful Primary team, certified as one of the best in the world by British Schools Overseas, is now looking for an outstanding Primary PE Coordinator to join us. If you are a UK-qualified teacher with experience of delivering the statutory framework/National Curriculum of England (PE), and you have a creative, positive and professional attitude, we would love to hear from you. About you: As part of the Primary PE team, you will be responsible for:
  1. Leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of PE lessons across the Primary School.
  2. Developing and implementing a progressive PE curriculum that engages all children and promotes physical literacy.
  3. Organising and coordinating school sports events, competitions, and relevant extracurricular activities.
  4. Promoting the importance of physical health and well-being within the school community.
  5. Monitoring and assessing student progress in physical development.
  6. Working collaboratively with other staff to promote physical activity across the curriculum.
To be considered for a vacancy, you should:
  1. Hold a good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
  2. Have experience of teaching PE across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
  3. Have some experience of subject/department leadership.
  4. Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the PE Curriculum, and assessment within the subject.
