- Leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of PE lessons across the Primary School.
- Developing and implementing a progressive PE curriculum that engages all children and promotes physical literacy.
- Organising and coordinating school sports events, competitions, and relevant extracurricular activities.
- Promoting the importance of physical health and well-being within the school community.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress in physical development.
- Working collaboratively with other staff to promote physical activity across the curriculum.
- Hold a good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
- Have experience of teaching PE across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
- Have some experience of subject/department leadership.
- Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the PE Curriculum, and assessment within the subject.
