Joining our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist , you will work with our existing QA team and other teams and individuals to ensure we deliver the most accurate and user-friendly product possible. We pride ourselves on our human culture and provide an environment with plenty of growth opportunities. Required Education, Skills & Experience:
- An ISTQB certification and/or any relevant qualifications related to Quality Assurance.
- At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role in a hybrid or fully remote and high-performing team.
- Proven experience in QA, with exposure to or experience in software testing environments , preferably in tech, finance, or payroll-related domains.
- Abundant self-drive, with a strong ability to take ownership and deliver quality results in a fast-paced , deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
- A track record in creating and executing test plans for new features , enhancements , and bug fixes .
- Skill in identifying edge cases and testing beyond typical scenarios .
- Familiarity with automation tools and contributing to test suite growth .
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude , with a keen eye for complex system issues.
- Excellent written communication skills to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and expanding QA and automation practices .
- To follow testing instructions and create test plans to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes - ensuring system changes behave as expected with no regressions.
- To be comfortable with automated test frameworks - with the ability to create, enhance and maintain existing automated test scenarios.
- To test beyond typical scenarios to identify edge cases that may have been missed.
- To provide clear, comprehensive feedback on test results, including failures and improvement suggestions.
- To expand on testing instructions and modify test plans based on feedback and testing outcomes
- To contribute to the improvement of QA processes, documentation and best practices.
- This role is fully remote. Candidates situated within GMT and GMT+5 time zones will be considered.
