A leading organization in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to protect and enhance the security of its information systems. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with global security standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing security operations, monitoring threats, and safeguarding system integrity. Responsibilities:
  • Assess current security measures and implement improvements based on industry trends and emerging threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify potential violations or inefficiencies.
  • Implement and maintain security controls to enhance system protection.
  • Provide reports on security performance and system status to senior technology leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to global security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on industry developments through continuous learning and professional certifications.
  • Lead and manage security operations across IT infrastructure, including endpoints and networks.
  • Oversee risk management, security monitoring, and compliance processes.
  • Utilize security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and threat detection systems.
  • Analyze and improve policies related to access control, system audits, configuration management, incident response, and business continuity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS GIAC (GCIA/GCIH), Security+ , or other relevant security credentials.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and cybersecurity defense mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar) and security tools.
  • Proficiency in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, Windows/Linux environments, cloud security, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple security initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
