Quality & Compliance Officer Location: Kilkenny City & Surrounding Areas Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week) Contract: Permanent Salary: Aligned with HSE Consolidated Scales ( Grade IV Clerical €18.76- €29.19 per hour depending on previous public sector experience) About the Role: Our client is seeking a Quality & Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with HIQA regulations and National Standards in our residential services. The role involves guiding quality improvement, supporting regulatory compliance, and upholding a rights-based approach in service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations and internal policies. Conduct audits, track action plans, and verify implementation. Develop policies, templates, and best practice guidelines. Oversee HIQA registration, documentation, and regulatory submissions. Support staff training and implementation of quality standards. Work with Day Service managers to ensure compliance with New Directions standards. Qualifications & Experience: Third-level qualification in Social Care (or relevant field). Minimum 3 years experience in the disability sector. Knowledge of HIQA regulations, the Health Act 2007, and quality management systems. Strong organisational, research, and communication skills.
