Senior Civil Structural Engineer-Abu Dhabi UAE

Reporting To: Civil & Structural Department Manager

Responsibilities:

• Act as Civil & Structural team lead for feasibility and concept study pre-FEED, FEED, basic engineering, and tender design for the assigned projects.
• Ensure all Civil Structural & Architectural (CSA) engineering deliverables are prepared and issued in adherence with project schedule and quality, and issued within the budgeted hours.
• Coordinate the preparation, quality control, internal quality procedures, approval issue, and (where applicable) client approval of CSA engineering documents and drawings.
• Ensure all civil and structural deliverables are being issued fully aligned with all other disciplines like piping, mechanical, HSE, electrical, and instrument.
• Work with other discipline engineers within PMC, EPC contractor, vendors, and client/operation/site interface to resolve technical issues and ensure safe and quality execution of Civil and Structural engineering activities.
• Manage internal interfaces with Project Managers and Project Engineering Managers for the assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance and job training to discipline engineers/junior engineers to ensure schedule adherence and quality of engineering documents.

• Strong technical knowledge in the relevant discipline.
• Strong design and analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
• Good verbal and written communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Wide knowledge of relevant technical and design software packages (e.g., STAAD Pro, SAP, MAT3D, Mathcad, Master series, Navisworks, etc.).
• Familiar with international codes and standards, and company standards.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the design of industrial and infrastructural facilities.
• Experience in feasibility studies, conceptual design, pre-FEED, and FEED design in power generation, power distribution, water treatment, natural gas, and/or crude oil processing plants as a Lead Civil Structural Engineer.
• Minimum 2 years working experience as a Lead Civil Structural Engineer.
