Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute stormwater management plans including the design and analysis of stormwater drainage systems, flood control solutions, and water quality measures.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to simulate stormwater runoff, flooding scenarios, and drainage network performance.
- Perform site assessments, collect relevant data, and evaluate existing stormwater infrastructure.
- Create design drawings, reports, and technical documentation for stormwater infrastructure including storm drains, culverts, and retention ponds.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate stormwater solutions into larger site development projects.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations including permitting and approvals processes.
- Develop designs that adhere to the quality standards ensuring compliance with the company's QA/QC processes.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in stormwater modeling and design.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater regulations.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
