We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with a strong background in the fit-out industry and MEP systems. The ideal candidate will manage the procurement process for materials, services, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery. The Procurement Officer will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement processes for fit-out and MEP projects, including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and managing supplier relationships.
Coordinate with project managers and teams to determine the material and equipment needs for ongoing projects.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in line with project schedules.
Monitor and track orders, ensuring that all procurement activities are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including contracts, supplier agreements, and purchase orders.
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, discounts, and payment terms for the company.
Resolve procurement-related issues, including delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new products in the fit-out and MEP sectors.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure budget compliance and accurate reporting of procurement expenses.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within the fit-out industry and MEP sector, preferably in Qatar.
In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and procurement practices in the construction and fit-out sectors.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Knowledge of local suppliers and market trends in Qatar is highly preferred.
