To support our Finance Team, we are looking for: Financial Accountant – Dubai, UAE You should have at least 1-3 years of experience in financial accounting in Oil & Gas/Industrial Market. We are looking for an experienced professional Accountant who can handle financial records, ensure accurate invoicing, and oversee account payables and receivables. You should have hands-on experience in financial reporting, data entry, and support in both internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your tasks will be the following:
- Weekly reporting on general job-related matters and responding to any requests from the Finance Manager.
- Reconcile collection and billing accounts on a regular basis to accurately reflect the status of accounts receivable.
- Responsible for accurate posting of all AP & AR invoices on the ERP system, monthly reconciliation of customers and suppliers' accounts.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of Cost of Sales upon revenue recognition.
- Coordinate AR collection with the sales team and monitor trade receivables due dates on a monthly basis.
- Verify, allocate, post, and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
- Weekly update of sales and backlog Order Intake file.
- Coordinate to receive and document the information on fixed assets to support and update the fixed assets register, monitor the capitalization process within the annual CAPEX budget.
- Support in monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, and the required preparation for the audit reporting.
- Assist in annual statutory audit and respond to all external auditor queries.
- Prepare all monthly reports concerning VAT for the UAE.
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
- Respond efficiently to the demands of administration procedures imposed by the company or clients.
- Help clients with their problems or complaints and achieve a satisfactory solution.
- Liaise with local EOHS Safety & Security Officer.
- Act always in accordance with company standards and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or similar.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, including a mandatory minimum of 3 years of working experience in a GCC country (experience in the UAE market is a plus).
- Experience in Sage 300 system is a plus.
- Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are preferred. Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and CRM is required.
- Willingness to undertake all company, software, and external training as directed by the line manager as required.
