The Opportunity Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living is a large retirement living community located in Rochedale South and we're expanding our Nursing team. In this role, you will thrive in an environment where resident choice comes first. Your ability to build a strong rapport with families and work closely with a dedicated team will help ensure clinical and interpersonal outcomes are exceeded. Your experience will be valued and you will play a key role in supporting the team around you to ensure quality outcomes for all residents in your care. This is a casual Enrolled or Registered Nurse position to assist our team in filling shifts. Night-shift availability is highly regarded. Apply today to let us know your availability What we offer $39.78/hr (EN) or $52.49/hr (RN) including casual loading + award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Opportunities for further career progression Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community Opportunity to work across a number of our neighbouring communities You will Lead, supervise and educate a team of Personal Care Attendants and ensure the delivery of person-centred care at the highest possible standard Ensuring all residents receive general and support services in line with resident contracts and care plans and be accountable for all medication management Maintain effective inter-personal relationships with residents and wider stakeholders Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community Respond to first-aid emergencies What you will bring Current AHPRA registration and CPR certificate (required) Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you) Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required) Experience in Community Care or Retirement Living (desired) Trustworthy, reliable & enjoy working in a team environment Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
