MOULDING SENIOR ENGINEER / MOULDING ASSISTANT MANAGER

1. Meeting the company common goal and mission.
2. Oversee all activities and provide necessary support to ensure smooth running in the Moulding & Tooling Department.
3. Able to perform die changes, both setting up and removal of tools.
4. Run tool trials and machine set up.
5. Understand ancillary equipment and the use of, such as Robotics, Hopper loaders, Dryers.
6. Able to diagnose moulding issues and work through to solve the issues.
7. Be able to understand SDS (safety data sheets) and work within their parameters.
8. Identify and analyse technical issues of manufacturing processes and recommend the areas for improvement.
9. Provide resolution and implement engineering solution to process / manufacturing issues.
10. Able to work to procedures and processes.
11. Liaise with cross functional team and ensure the first article sample completion.
12. Develop & provide engineering solution to continue improve the process control as well as product quality.
13. Attend to any setting of new mould on machine and establish new setting parameter if necessary.
14. Authorize to liaise with external supplier particularly on modification and repairing of tools.
15. Constantly monitor and measure the actual quantity and quality performance against the established standard and act on the difference.
16. Ensure operating procedures are updated and review from time to time.
17. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
18. Understand the requirement of clear reporting.
19. Understand the customer’s needs and requirements.
20. Understand a quality system and be able to work within team.
21. Authorize to down the mould for service if not able achieve desired product requirement.
22. Authorize to send the mould for service if not able achieve desired product requirement.
23. Authorize to quarantine the suspect rejected part.
