Lead DevOps Engineer

Summary: Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using tools like Terraform, and design and deploy AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda. Deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and performance. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions, implement security best practices, and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost of AWS resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using tools like Terraform.
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Configure and optimize Kubernetes for high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions
• Ensure automated testing, integration, and deployment processes are in place.
• Continuously monitor the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage security best practices for both AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of AWS resources and Kubernetes clusters.
• Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and recovery tests.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and outages in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Optimize cost, performance, and security of AWS resources

• Proven experience of atleast 6 years in managing AWS infrastructure and services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly using tools like Github Actions.
• Strong skills in monitoring application and infrastructure health, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.
• Deep understanding of security best practices for both AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Ability to work closely with development teams to ensure smooth application integration.
• Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve incidents and outages promptly.
• Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, AWS, and Kubernetes.
