Our client, a leading New York-based electronic security company , is looking for a highly detailed and technically proficient professional to develop schematics and drawings for access control, CCTV, and low-voltage security projects. The Role What You’ll Do AutoCAD Drafting & Design
- Create and modify detailed schematics and drawings for low-voltage security systems.
- Develop precise layouts, wiring diagrams, and integration plans based on project specifications.
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, building codes, and project requirements .
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to refine system designs.
- Maintain accurate records, revisions, and as-built drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in creating technical documentation and submittals to support project execution.
- Utilize AutoCAD and BIM software to design and optimize security systems.
- Ensure seamless integration with other construction and engineering tools .
- Troubleshoot design challenges and develop scalable, efficient solutions .
- Proven experience in AutoCAD design for electronic security, low-voltage, or structured cabling systems .
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarms, and intercom systems .
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills .
