Join us in realizing our shared vision to create a more connected, sustainable world. As a Civil Infrastructure Inspector, you are responsible for:
  1. Conducting inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications, which may include:
  2. Demolition of transportation facilities (roads, utilities, streets etc.)
  3. Construction of roads and other associated improvements (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, landscaping)
  4. Irrigation and planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.
  5. Installation of temporary and permanent signs and delineation.
  6. Taking project photographs on a daily basis and filing them.
  7. Maintaining office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and writing daily diaries.
  8. Preparing daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
  9. Performing labor compliance interviews and maintaining as-built plans.
  10. Recognizing potential conflicts, issues, and problems, and reporting to supervisor with proposed solutions.
  11. Coordinating work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing.
  12. Participating in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.
  13. Participating in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
  14. Reporting on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work.
  15. Responding to call backs in case of emergency at the project site.
  16. Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Here's what you'll need:
  1. Qualifications: 3 years Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction related field is required.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in construction supervision of Roads & Utilities, infrastructure projects.
  3. Academic Excellence: Proven history of outstanding academic performance.
  4. Drive and Determination: Exhibit unwavering determination and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
  5. Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate in diverse environments.
