  1. Establish engineering requirements and source the necessary resources for the project.
  2. Ensure engineering systems and procedures are developed and successfully rolled out for the project.
  3. Ensure effective coordination between the engineering disciplines.
  4. Provide HSE leadership to the engineering teams.
  5. Responsible for ensuring the competency of the project engineering team.
  6. Training and development of engineering staff.
  7. Coordination of the engineering team, including addressing performance shortfalls with supervisors and rewarding good performance.
  8. Drive communication relating to technical matters.
  9. Ensure that technical integrity is not being compromised to meet schedules across the project.
  10. Promote collaboration with other functional groups and stakeholders on engineering matters.
Change Management:
  1. Ensure scope changes are identified and management of change processes are adhered to.
  2. Ensure change management of technical issues is properly implemented.
  3. Identify and implement additional technical peer reviews as necessary to ensure the technical integrity of the location.
  4. Technical peer reviews are conducted in accordance with the location plan.
Qualifications:
  1. Must have project engineering experience including experience as an Engineering Manager on large-scale projects.
