Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by handling maintenance tasks, coordinating repairs, and keeping track of essential maintenance schedules. Your expertise in facilities management and attention to detail will help maintain efficiency across our kitchens and stores. What You'll Do- Perform routine maintenance and facility management tasks across kitchens and stores.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
- Assign, update, and close JIRA tickets for maintenance requests.
- Support the implementation of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset list, tracking kitchen equipment, HVAC units, and other essential infrastructure.
- Liaise with AMC providers and ad-hoc contractors for timely repairs and maintenance.
- Assist in preparing quarterly PPM schedules and ensure compliance across locations.
- Collect and review maintenance quotations, coordinating approvals with the property or country manager.
- Generate and process Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for maintenance work.
- Verify invoices against LPOs and coordinate with finance for timely payments.
- Maintain a detailed record of all service providers, contracts, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with landlords and facility teams to obtain access permits for internal and external maintenance work.
- Assist in the registration of leases, Ejari, Tawtheeq, and utility setups across various emirates.
- Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety and compliance standards.
- 2-5 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in real estate or F&B operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems such as JIRA, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
