Job Description Typical Experience/Qualifications: We are seeking a skilled Senior Consultant in Forensics with a solid background in forensic services, internal audit, external audit, or compliance and governance roles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience, preferably from a Big Four or similar firm. Relevant certifications (such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFE, CIA, or ACAMS) are preferred, or the candidate should be actively working towards these qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of forensic service offerings within the context of an independent accounting firm.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the global/local risk management procedures of KPMG and ensure compliance in day-to-day operations/forensic assignments.
- Independently handle workstreams within larger engagements.
- Contribute and assist management with respect to the business development activities of the department.
- Participate in client meetings, clearly understand the objective and scope of work, and assist the team with preparation of proposals/terms of reference for the client.
- Write relevant sections and/or complete forensic reports depending on the nature of the assignments.
- Build knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, and on related forensic software/tools (e.g., I2 chart).
- Stay updated on forensic material circulated internally (within KPMG) and externally (such as newspapers, professional magazines, etc.).
- Continuously work to develop skills and knowledge in fraud investigation, anti-bribery & corruption, fraud risk assessment, and dispute advisory services.
- Coach less experienced staff in the department, especially regarding risk management procedures, technical guidance on assignments, and preparation of working paper files.
- Report to the respective performance manager/team leader/manager on day-to-day activities including assignments.
- Learns about the latest trends in KPMG's market, including competitor activity.
- Identifies possible business opportunities and advises manager or partner.
- Initiates action to move a situation forward.
- Works autonomously with minimal need for guidance.
- Takes responsibility and accountability for the work and performance of others.
- Volunteers for extra/additional responsibilities when the department needs help.
- Identifies, documents, and shares knowledge that might be useful to others.

- Monitors how projects are progressing against the budget and deadlines.
- Strong forensic background and experience in the related forensic field (accounting, law enforcement, forensic technology, and legal experience is preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (proposal/report writing, presentations).
- Fluent in English – Verbal & written.
