What You'll Be Doing We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Portfolio and Program Delivery to lead the end-to-end management of the Omnichannel Technology portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring technology initiatives are aligned with business objectives, delivering measurable outcomes, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will oversee portfolio governance, delivery performance, cost management, and the realization of technology-driven business value. This role demands a visionary leader capable of steering complex programs, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and embedding a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement. Strategic Portfolio Leadership:
- Own and manage the Omnichannel Technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals.
- Define and implement portfolio governance frameworks to track and measure the success of programs and initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to prioritize investments based on value, risk, and strategic impact.
- Drive the execution of the Operating Model, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Work in accordance with the CDTO PPMOs frameworks and governance models.
- Ensure successful delivery of programs and projects within scope, budget, and timelines, meeting defined Technology Outcomes.
- Define, monitor, and report on Delivery SLAs and Cost SLAs, ensuring performance metrics are consistently met.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Foster a culture of delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure technology’s contribution to business outcomes, including cost efficiency, speed-to-market, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
- Drive accountability for benefits realization, ensuring projects deliver on expected outcomes.
- Serve as the key liaison between Technology, Business, and Executive Leadership, providing regular updates on portfolio performance.
- Lead governance forums, including Portfolio Review Boards, Steering Committees, and Executive Briefings aligned to the Operating Model.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration across the organization.
- Oversee the financial health of the portfolio, including budget planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to Cost SLAs, driving cost efficiency without compromising delivery quality.
- Provide financial transparency through regular reporting and variance analysis.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of program and project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Develop talent pipelines, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills required to support evolving business needs.
- Promote a growth mindset, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in portfolio and program management within large, complex organizations.
- Proven track record of delivering technology programs with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong background in portfolio governance, financial management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience in omnichannel, eCommerce, MarTech, data, and integration environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
