Warehouse Equipment Manager - Jeddah & Dammam

The Opportunity: The Warehouse Equipment Manager at Keeta will oversee the rider inventory management and distribution across two key locations: Jeddah and Dammam. This role is responsible for ensuring that all riders and fleet partners are equipped with necessary assets based on their rider count, maintaining stock levels, and managing inventory. They will work closely with the central team to forecast and request additional inventory while ensuring the efficient and smooth running of warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory management and ensure that all rider assets (equipment, gear, etc.) are stocked and available across both warehouses in Jeddah and Dammam.
    • Monitor inventory levels and provide stock updates regularly to the central team.
    • Raise requests for additional stock based on usage patterns and the forecasted rider count.
  2. Asset Distribution:
    • Manage the distribution of rider equipment to all riders and fleet partners in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that riders on the ground are fully equipped with all necessary items, such as helmets, bags, and uniforms, based on the specific needs and rider count.
  3. Quality Control:
    • Regularly inspect equipment for quality and ensure that it meets Keeta’s standards.
    • Collect feedback from riders regarding asset quality and communicate necessary adjustments or improvements to the central team.
  4. Stock Audits:
    • Perform regular stock audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
    • Address discrepancies and manage returns, replacements, or repairs of damaged or faulty equipment.
  5. Operational Coordination:
    • Work closely with local teams to ensure smooth coordination of inventory distribution.
    • Ensure all distribution logistics are efficiently planned, with proper tracking of inventory flow.
  6. Training and Support:
    • Provide necessary support and guidance to local teams on inventory processes, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Assist in training new team members on warehouse operations and equipment management.
  7. Reporting:
    • Provide regular reports on stock levels, asset quality, and inventory forecasts to the central operations team.
    • Collaborate with other teams for smooth integration of inventory data into the central system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years ) in warehouse management, inventory control, or similar roles in the logistics or operations industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage and distribute inventory across multiple locations.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback to central teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in the food delivery or logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Arabic.
