SENIOR RISK OFFICER
Job details
The role of risk senior officer is to provide hands-on development of risk models involving market, credit and operational risk, assure controls are operating effectively, and provide research and analytical supports. Risk officers must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and implement an overall risk management and business continuity process for the organization.
- Perform risk assessment: analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company.
- Performing risk evaluation: evaluating the group and its' subsidiaries previous handling of risks and comparing potential risks with criteria set by the group / subsidiary.
- Perform control mapping: map the controls to the risks and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Risk reporting: creating risk reports for business heads to understand the risks that might affect their departments.
- Perform business impact analysis: analyse the impact overtime for time critical services and collect the minimum requirements and identify single point of failures.
- Conduct business continuity and disaster recovery plan tests and awareness: facilitate tests and awareness sessions for BCPs and DRPs.
- Perform ESG material subject data collection and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
4 - 6 years' experience in risk assessments or similar job.About Application Process
