Job Description
The Senior Academic Leader will serve as a key member of the university's senior leadership team, overseeing various departments and ensuring seamless operational processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice to the President on key issues affecting the university.
- Supervise staff administrative activities across the university.
- Oversee the Finance, Human Resources, IT, Facilities, and Purchasing departments.
- Facilitate administrative processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement academic strategic planning in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and collection processes.
- Be responsible for building maintenance and grounds upkeep.
- Oversee all purchases, including instructional materials, furniture, supplies, technology software, etc.
- Manage staff salaries and benefits, ensuring compliance with government regulations and university policies.
- Lead personnel operations, including recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff.
- Take disciplinary actions as necessary and submit an annual report to the President.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
