High-level Job Purpose Statement To Supervise the Parts Sales Staff – Front & Workshop Counters Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the work of Parts Salesman both in the workshop and retail counter (i.e., invoicing, part number identifications and quotations). Assist in the performance of parts salesman’s duties as needed to ensure prompt service for customers.
  2. Prepare unfilled parts reports and coordinate with the Parts Supervisor for VOR order request. Ensure customers are notified promptly when special VOR orders are received in stock, or if unforeseen delays are encountered.
  3. Preparation of “on hold parts for customer” (Retail & Workshop Counter) parts tracking reports on weekly basis and report to (NPM, Workshop Reception and Salesman).
  4. Follow-up stockiest requirements.
  5. Ensure your department parts sales budget are met.
  6. Report daily to your direct manager, clarifying achievements and explanations if the budget is not met.
  7. Perform activities with your staff to achieve a high level of customer service and management.
  8. Generate business and prevent any sales loss.
  9. Act with your sales staff as a team.
  10. Ensure that your staff achieves ultimate operations results.
  11. Provide instructions and guidelines.
  12. Suggest tools that may increase your department's performance.
  13. Assist the Parts Salesman in looking up the correct part number when difficulties are encountered.
  14. Ensure correct parts are supplied to customers by assisting Parts Salesman to physically inspect parts prior to invoicing and dispatching to customers.
  15. Check invoices to verify the accuracy of quantities and sensibility of invoice prices/discounts. Note system discrepancies and bring them to the attention of the Regional Parts Manager.
  16. Perform other tasks assigned by the Regional Parts Manager.
Minimum Requirements for the Role Qualifications University Degree Experience 3 years’ minimum experience in field sales; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Good computer skills
  4. Fluent in English and Arabic
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills
