Job Title: BIM Manager – Signage Industry Location: Saudi Arabia Department: Design Job Summary: The BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing BIM processes across all signage projects. This role requires expertise in BIM modeling, coordination, and execution to optimize design, manufacturing, and installation processes within the signage industry. The BIM Manager will work closely with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, improve efficiency, and enhance project delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. BIM Management & Implementation:

  • Develop and manage BIM strategies, standards, and workflows for signage projects.
  • Ensure compliance with BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 standards and best practices.
  • Establish BIM templates, families, and libraries specific to signage components.
  • Implement 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination with architectural and structural models.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives within the company.
2. BIM Modeling & Coordination:
  • Create 3D BIM models of signage structures, wayfinding systems, and digital displays.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to integrate signage elements into project models.
  • Conduct BIM clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks, Revit, or similar software.
  • Generate shop drawings, construction documentation, and fabrication-ready models for manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure accurate model updates and as-built documentation post-installation.
3. Project Collaboration & Team Support:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to optimize project execution.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants , for BIM integration.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to the design and engineering teams on BIM tools and processes.
  • Conduct BIM coordination meetings and assist in project reviews.
4. Process Improvement & Technology Integration:
  • Research and recommend new BIM technologies and software to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop automation scripts and workflows (e.g., Dynamo, Python) to improve modeling and documentation.
  • Integrate BIM with ERP, costing, and project management systems .
  • Ensure BIM data is structured for future digital twin applications .
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field .
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM management, preferably in the signage, construction, or architectural industry .
  • Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Rhino, and Dynamo .
  • Proficiency in Clash Detection, 4D/5D BIM, and parametric modeling .
  • Familiarity with fabrication techniques, materials, and LED/digital signage components .
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and COBie standards .
  • Experience in using Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as BIM 360, Aconex, or Procore .
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with 3D scanning, point cloud data integration, and VR/AR visualization .
  • Understanding of sustainability and digital construction trends in signage.
  • Scripting ability in Dynamo, Python, or Grasshopper for automation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and digital fabrication techniques related to signage.
