Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Fashion Buyer to join our team in the fashion retail sector. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing fashion products that align with the company’s strategy, brand vision, and customer preferences . You will work closely with the merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time to meet customer demand, maximize profitability, and drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Product Sourcing and Supplier Management:

1. Identify and source (new) fashion suppliers, ensuring they meet the company’s standards and align with the value-driven, off-price retail model.
2. Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with external suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely product availability.

Inventory and Stock Management:

1. Monitor inventory levels and sales trends across multiple stores to ensure the right products are available and in-demand.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain balanced stock levels, ensuring efficient reordering from suppliers and preventing stockouts.

Sales and Profitability:

1. Analyze sales data, customer preferences, and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions that drive sales and profitability.
2. Continuously adjust buying strategies to ensure the best mix of fashion products and maximize return on investment.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:

1. Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to align product offerings with in-store promotions and seasonal campaigns.
2. Ensure smooth coordination with the supply chain and logistics teams to guarantee timely deliveries and availability of stock.

Market and Trend Analysis:

1. Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and competitor offerings to identify new product opportunities from external suppliers.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years in buying within the fashion retail industry, preferably in off-price or multi-brand retail environments.
2. Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with external suppliers.
3. Strong understanding of fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitive market conditions.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed purchasing decisions.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant buying tools for managing inventory, tracking orders, and analyzing data.
6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
7. Passion for fashion and keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends.
