Job details

1. Technical Skills HTML/CSS/jQuery:

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS pre-processors (Sass/LESS).
Basic JavaScript skills for interactive elements (e.g., sliders, modals) and familiarity with jQuery.

Responsive Web Design:

Expertise in creating mobile-friendly, responsive websites using frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.

Design Software:

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for creating layouts, graphics, and prototypes.

UX/UI Design:

Knowledge of user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
Skilled in creating user flows, personas, and improving user experiences.

Content Management Systems (CMS):

Experience designing and customizing websites with CMS platforms like WordPress.

Version Control:

Familiar with Git for collaborative design work.

2. Design Principles and Practices Visual Design:

Strong grasp of aesthetics, color theory, typography, and layout design.

Branding:

Ability to align web designs with brand identity, voice, and values.

Accessibility:

Understanding of WCAG guidelines to create accessible websites for all users.

Wireframing/Prototyping:

Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD for wireframes and prototypes.

3. Soft Skills Attention to Detail:

Ensures precision in typography, layout alignment, and overall design.

Creativity:

Develops innovative design solutions and concepts.

Communication & Collaboration:

Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, developers, and teams.
Works effectively in Agile or cross-functional environments.

4. Experience Portfolio:

Showcases responsive designs, user interfaces, and graphic work (freelance or client projects).

Work Experience:

2–5 years in web design, emphasizing modern, user-centered websites.

5. Optional (Beneficial Skills) Basic Coding Knowledge:

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration.
Understanding CMS limitations for design implementation.

Project Management Tools:

Experience with Jira, Trello, or Asana for managing workflows.

Key Soft Skills

Problem-Solving: Creative solutions to design challenges.
Adaptability: Quickly adapts to trends, tools, or client needs.
Time Management: Handles multiple projects and meets deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Experience:
