Job details

Job Title: Construction Specialist (Electrical and Instrumentation) - JED0070 Primary Location: SAU-MK-Jeddah

Job Purpose:

Monitor and ensure work is completed in accordance with the Project Execution and HSE Management Plans and ensure full compliance to these plans.

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute the construction portion of project plans through detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities.
  2. Preparation of resource forecasting and forecasting of costs and trends.
  3. Establish, authorise and implement construction schedules and strategy.
  4. Manage scope, cost, time and schedule changes to a project.
  5. Control project expectations for labour, equipment, material and services and ensure field operations are within budget.
  6. Provide supervision and direction to discipline employees, sub-contractors and field supervisors.
  7. Ensure effective communication with various stakeholders.
  8. Establish and maintain good working relationships with the client.
  9. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and terms and conditions of Head Contract.
  10. Identify and manage risk, encouraging commitment through formulating a clear vision and direction.

Technical and Industry Experience:

  1. Knowledgeable in the establishment and application of construction management systems, processes and tools.
  2. Excellent technical and practical skills with a history of delivering quality work.
  3. Previous technical, practical and leadership experience in construction management.
  4. Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  5. Experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
  6. Thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and standards.
