Maintenance Clerk
Job details
Schedule maintenance activities by ensuring that all maintenance tasks are timely, organized, and effective. Record maintenance requests by keeping an accurate log of all maintenance needs and requests. Procurement of materials, tools, and parts necessary for maintenance work and procuring materials and equipment required for maintenance tasks. Generate reports that provide detailed records of maintenance activities for tracking and analysis. Facilitate smooth communication between departments, maintenance staff, and management. Manage and maintain Site fleet of vehicles and equipment used on-site. Handle administrative tasks related to maintenance operations. Maintain adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualification: NQF Level 4 (Matric/Grade 12) or equivalent; Additional qualifications in Office Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field are advantageous; A valid driver license
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a maintenance, or facilities management environment; 3 years of experience in utilizing ticket logging systems and maintenance management software, along with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suit
Knowledge: Understanding of basic maintenance processes and terminology; Familiarity with inventory management systems; Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to maintenance
