Contract Accountant (US MNC, Kaki Bukit, up to $4600)

Job Description:

• Location: Kaki Bukit
• 5 days work week
• 3 months subject to extension for another 3 months
• Salary: up to $4600 per month

• Coordinating and handle financial consolidation for monthly close of the India entity with external outsourcing company
• Key focus on AR collections across APAC
• Order release and BCP support across credit team.
• Maintain full sets of accounting for indias entity:
• Handle day to day finance function, including AP processing and payrolls (collaborate with HR partner for all outsourcing payrolls to ensure accurate journals booking)
• Carry out bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly payroll journals and any accruals journals and including reconciliation of all balance sheet schedule
• Fixed Asset and Inventory control
• T&E & Concur controller
• Entering data into Mapics for monthly closing and making journal entries
• Assistance with preparation of documentation for audit purpose.
• Liaise with external/Internal auditors and support on corporate secretarial and tax matters
• T&E refresher
• Expanded role local support across P&C team across Asia
• AR support and any other ah-hoc projects & duties as assigned

• Five years of related work experience
• Degree in Accounting/Finance, accounting accreditation preferred
• Familiar with MS Office
• Familiar with MAPICS and Oracle ERP (preferred)
• Sound business knowledge, accounting and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Effectively manage multiple initiatives and changing priorities
• Independent, self-motivated and fast learner as well as a good team player
• Proactive, strong analytical skill and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Able to work under a remote management arrangement (Independent)
