Sand Wash Supervisor

Responsibilities:

1. Follow company guidelines and complete allocated tasks within a fixed time.
2. Ensure that batched sand wash meets customer requirements.
3. Coordinate with Lab Technicians for inspection of slump and cohesiveness of fresh concrete.
4. Report to the Technical/Operations Manager or Laboratory in charge for any non-conforming sand wash products.
5. Ensure sufficient raw materials and admixtures are available for production of sand wash Sitra.
6. Monitor raw material stock levels and update daily raw material stock report to the Technical & Operations Manager.
7. Ensure that trucks are positioned correctly under the plant discharge hopper to avoid any spillage of concrete.
8. Liaise with the shipping clerk or Dispatch Supervisor for customer’s daily order requirements.
9. Liaise with the Dispatch Supervisor regarding the site conditions of customers for delivery of concrete.
10. Liaise with customers or their representatives regularly related to the quality of concrete delivered to their site.
11. Coordinate and communicate with the Laboratory in charge for customer special requirements.
12. Ensure that backup plant facilities work appropriately.
13. Communicate with the Plant Supervisor for any errors in the plant to carry out repairs, preventive maintenance, or calibrations on time.

1. Capable of building effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
2. Must be an active listener with good communication, time management, flexibility, and coordination skills.
3. Should possess basic computer skills.
