Job Description
- Demonstrate work methods when necessary and from time to time actually perform critical tasks which subordinates do not have the skill or experience to perform. Makes sketches for instructional purposes.
- Participate in the training and development of subordinates.
- Supervise work progress and safeguard against waste of materials and man-hours. Monitor attendance and punctuality of the crew.
- Ensure that subordinates are properly equipped, and that equipment issued or allocated is correctly used and maintained in a safe and effective manner.
- Responsible for maintaining safety of the site for both the crew and others needing access to it.
- Investigate any grievances of subordinates to determine the real cause of difficulties and handle them appropriately.
