Job Opportunity: Vice President, Treasurer Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for treasury management and investor relations? Join our team as the Vice President, Treasurer and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success and stakeholder engagement of our organization. About the Role As the VP, Treasurer , you will report directly to the Group Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and take charge of our Treasury and Investor Relations functions. This is a senior leadership role at the Vice President level within the Finance Department, offering a unique opportunity to drive financial strategy, manage liquidity, and strengthen relationships with key investors and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities Treasury Management:- Lead the organization’s treasury function, ensuring optimal liquidity, effective interest rate control, and policy compliance.
- Negotiate interest rates, secure credit lines, and maintain robust banking relationships.
- Monitor collateral requirements and manage cash flow to minimize risks and optimize working capital.
- Foster transparent and trusted communication with investors and stakeholders.
- Oversee the shareholder register, ensuring regulatory compliance and addressing shareholder queries.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual reports, organize Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and lead impactful Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Develop and distribute press releases to effectively communicate corporate milestones and reinforce the organization’s image.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional financial accreditation (CPA, CFA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of treasury and finance experience in the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, performance metrics, and valuation models.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and investors.
- Expertise in negotiating favorable financial terms and managing interest rate risks.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for investor and media briefings.
- Experience in ESG initiatives and sustainability reporting is a plus.
