Job Opportunity: Vice President, Treasurer Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for treasury management and investor relations? Join our team as the Vice President, Treasurer and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success and stakeholder engagement of our organization. About the Role As the VP, Treasurer , you will report directly to the Group Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and take charge of our Treasury and Investor Relations functions. This is a senior leadership role at the Vice President level within the Finance Department, offering a unique opportunity to drive financial strategy, manage liquidity, and strengthen relationships with key investors and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities Treasury Management:
  1. Lead the organization’s treasury function, ensuring optimal liquidity, effective interest rate control, and policy compliance.
  2. Negotiate interest rates, secure credit lines, and maintain robust banking relationships.
  3. Monitor collateral requirements and manage cash flow to minimize risks and optimize working capital.
Investor Relations:
  1. Foster transparent and trusted communication with investors and stakeholders.
  2. Oversee the shareholder register, ensuring regulatory compliance and addressing shareholder queries.
  3. Coordinate the preparation of annual reports, organize Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and lead impactful Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  4. Develop and distribute press releases to effectively communicate corporate milestones and reinforce the organization’s image.
What We’re Looking For Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Professional financial accreditation (CPA, CFA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
Experience:
  1. Minimum 5 years of treasury and finance experience in the financial services sector.
Key Skills:
  1. Strong understanding of financial statements, performance metrics, and valuation models.
  2. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and investors.
  3. Expertise in negotiating favorable financial terms and managing interest rate risks.
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills for investor and media briefings.
  5. Experience in ESG initiatives and sustainability reporting is a plus.
  6. Inspires trust and confidence among stakeholders.
  7. Thrives in a dynamic environment and responds flexibly to evolving priorities.
