Feb 12, 2025, 8:59:00 PM About the role As we embark on a group-wide cloud ERP Transformation project, we are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect with deep expertise in Financials to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our Oracle Cloud ERP solution, focusing on Financials modules. You will work closely with implementation partners, Oracle product teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and PMO teams to ensure the successful delivery of Cloud ERP projects that meet business objectives. Project WAHED is a group-wide cloud ERP Transformation project that is a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to be part of the most exciting Business Transformation journey that Qatar Airways Group has ever embarked on. Accountabilities- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions for Financials, collaborating closely with implementation partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices and industry standards for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Provide guidance and support to business teams in process design, process improvement, and process management.
- Oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle Cloud ERP with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Identify areas where the standard Cloud ERP functionality does not meet business needs and define the necessary customizations.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate business users and team members on Oracle Cloud ERP functionalities.
- Develop and enforce quality assurance processes for all stages of the ERP implementation, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment, ensuring the solution meets business requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and configuration guides to support ongoing operations and future upgrades.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and Oracle Product vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality services and meet project timelines.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and Oracle EPM Cloud to ensure smooth operation of the ERP system.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud ERP updates and trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support the change management efforts of the ERP Transformation project team by working closely with business stakeholders and the change management team.
- Support in setting up the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Oracle Cloud ERP within the organization for Financials, defining best practices, governance models, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or Finance.
- Overall 10-12 years of experience working with ERP systems.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM implementation.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect, with a focus on Financials.
- Strong understanding of business processes in finance and supply chain management.
- Aviation industry experience.
- Professional Certifications in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Demonstrated experience with project management/Agile delivery/ITIL in a regulated environment.
