Job Title: Schools Based Occupational Therapist (HCPC registered) for Children and Young People in Southwest London Location: Regional Role, South-West London Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience. Contract: Summer Contract with the following benefits: Summer Contract- 5 weeks off in the school summer break

- HCPC and RCOT registration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
- Paediatric OT Experience
- Experience working within a specialist Worked within and SEN paediatric setting
- Experience working within school settings
- Experiencing completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' sensory, motor, and self-care skills to determine eligibility for Occupational Therapy provision within their EHCP.
- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to address students' specific needs and facilitate their participation in school activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans and learning environment.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of intervention effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimise outcomes.
- Conduct training and support to teaching staff on strategies and techniques to promote students' functional skills and independence within the classroom setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, case notes, annual review reports and intervention plans in accordance with regulatory standards and LCP policies.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute expertise and ensure coordinated care for students with complex needs.
- Primarily school-based with opportunity to work within the clinic setting.
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and other professionals in a collaborative team working environment.
- Flexible working hours. ty in scheduling to accommodate students' and school's needs within school hours with time to complete administration and preparation for the next working day after school finishes.
