About the Role Primary Objectives & Responsibilities Dynamics 365 Implementation & Post-Go-Live Stabilisation Lead the Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation and post-go-live stabilisation, ensuring system optimisation, performance tuning, and ongoing environment management; Proactively manage and optimise the Dynamics 365 environment, ensuring a stable and scalable platform post-implementation; Troubleshoot technical, integration, and operational issues within D365 and work closely with vendors and internal teams to drive resolutions; Establish best practices for D365 governance, maintenance, and enhancements to maximise system effectiveness. Enterprise Applications & IT Leadership Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, Saa S, and on-premise digital applications; Develop and manage the global digital applications strategy in alignment with business objectives and IT portfolio strategy; Ensure efficient application licensing, compliance, and lifecycle management to maintain cost-effective solutions; Lead the team responsible for IT applications, business systems, and enterprise data engineering. Strategic IT Management & Business Leadership Take full ownership of the Digital Applications function, ensuring the CIO and executive leadership are not required to oversee day-to-day operations; Lead cross-functional teams, working closely with Finance, Operations, and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with business goals; Develop a clear roadmap for IT investments, ensuring scalability, innovation, and alignment with company growth objectives; Proactively identify new opportunities for digital transformation, ensuring the business maximises technology investments. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement; Manage third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality support, optimal costs, and strong contractual performance; Conduct performance appraisals, training, and succession planning to strengthen the IT leadership pipeline. Key Requirements Technical Expertise Proven experience in Dynamics 365 implementation, post-go-live stabilisation, and environment management; Strong functional knowledge in one or more ERP/CRM modules (Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Customer Experience); Experience deploying cloud-based enterprise applications and managing hybrid IT environments; Hands-on experience in application lifecycle management, performance tuning, and post-implementation optimisation. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Demonstrated ability to lead IT teams independently, taking full ownership of the function without executive oversight; Strong leadership in enterprise-wide IT transformation and digital strategy execution; Ability to influence key stakeholders and align IT initiatives with business priorities; Strong vendor management experience, ensuring optimal delivery of outsourced IT services. Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, enterprise applications, and digital transformation; 5+ years of experience specifically with Dynamics 365, including full implementation lifecycle and post-go-live support; Experience working in mid-to-large enterprises with complex IT landscapes; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred; Certifications in TOGAF, ITIL, or PMP are a plus. Why Join Us?
