Work you'll love, so you can live a life you'll love. Summary We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join us in a part-time capacity (16 - 25 hours per week). Reporting to the CEO, you will own and drive core people initiatives, balancing strategic and operational responsibilities across the business. This is a standalone role where you'll work closely with our leadership team to support operational efficiency, people initiatives, and cross-functional coordination across the business.The key responsibilities are outlined below. HR Manager & Employee Support Coach and support middle managers on performance conversations, feedback, goal setting, and employee development.Provide guidance on people-related issues such as employee relations, career development, and engagement.Support the SLT in driving a strong culture of learning and development, ensuring consistency in people management approaches. 2. Employee Experience & Engagement Lead our annual engagement survey - administering the survey, analysing results, and facilitating team debriefs and action planning.Drive our 'Brand Inside Out' strategy, ensuring our EVP is embedded across the employee experience.Support and oversee team events, recognition programs, and cultural initiatives. 3. HR Operations & Compliance Run payroll processes (via our HRIS, Hibob) and liaise with Finance.Oversee onboarding/offboarding to ensure a smooth employee experience.Maintain and improve our HR policies, compliance, and reporting.Manage office administration (suppliers, cleaners, office supplies). Beyond that - there's plenty of scope to grow the role in a way that aligned with your unique skills and passions. Perhaps you're looking to move into a more operational or commercial space, or maybe you want the opportunity to put your advisory work into practice - making something your own. You are likely driven by the opportunity to work with cross functional leaders and make an impact through engaging work and endless new problems to solve. Talk to us about what your unique skills and passions are!3-5+ years HR or generalist People & Culture experience, ideally in a scale-up, startup, or high-growth environment - but this is not essential. If you're looking to take your generalist experience and move into a new industry - we still want to hear from you!Strong skillset experience in coaching managers, performance management, and employee development.Self-starter mindset - comfortable owning projects and working autonomously.Strong communication skills and natural relationship builder with an ability to engage with leaders and employees at all levels.Experience with HR systems (Hibob or similar) and payroll processing (desirable).Above all, you're a problem solver. You love getting to the heart of a problem or opportunity, and scoping solutions from first principles. The Details Salary: $80 K-$110 K AUD (pro-rata) + super.Hours: 20-25 hours per week.Location: Melbourne-based, with at least two in-office days per week (flexible days/hours, including office days).Start Date: ASAP.Interested?We'd love to hear from you!
