You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.As an Account Director, your role is to successfully manage a portfolio of large and complex national workers compensation clients, which include some of Australia’s largest employers. These strategic and high value clients have been secured by EML in more than one managed fund state and/or self-insurance scheme and require superior service, technical expertise and strategic oversight to drive performance, portfolio and product growth and optimise program profitability.You will already have significant Account Management experience in workers compensation, preferably across multiple jurisdictions and/or self-insurance schemes, providing clients and brokers with a superior level of customer service, providing seamless and proactive program support to corporate programs.The role requires you to work closely with each business unit’s claims operations teams, to develop and lead program strategy, improve performance and implement bespoke services to demonstrate market leading account management support to some of Australia’s largest and most sophisticated employers.This will be a permanent, full time position preferably based in one of our NSW offices, although, open to Queensland and Victoria depending on successful applicant. You will have the option of hybrid working and occasional interstate travel will be required.Your Responsibilities Management and servicing of platinum tier and emerging platinum tier clients, with a focus on retention and performance. Implementation of a comprehensive service plan, including detailed executive engagement, relationship matrix, performance analytics, and partnership activities. Management of contract requirements and deliverables for self-insurance clients. Participate in tenders, proposals and new business presentations. Drive continuous improvement and innovation across client portfolio with evidence of strategic and proactive initiatives across client base. Demonstrate a high level of technical scheme knowledge across all states and schemes when it comes to industry developments, legislative adjustments and trends. Demonstrate intimate knowledge and commercial understanding of your client portfolio, reflective of a detailed knowledge of the client’s executive structure, financials and operations. About You More than 5+ years demonstrated experience in relevant workers’ compensation and/or personal injury environment. More than 3+ years business development, relationship management or account management experience. Excellent understanding of the NSW, Vic & SA managed fund jurisdictions and/or self-insurance/Comcare schemes. Tender writing skills and procurement knowledge desired, but not essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills at C-suite/executive level. What We Offer We stand together as equals.
