Managing Director, Australia (Hybrid) Full-time, Australia In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all functions of Australia. These include operations, program management, technology, industry relations, finance, business development, and facilities. You will guide the country General Manager and have overarching responsibility for achieving goals related to client retention, employee satisfaction, profitability, quality service, preferred vendor maximization, technology implementation, and business development for assigned business functions. As a Managing Director, Australia, you will: Lead the country manager to achieve country and customer goals. Support initiatives to define mission, vision, goals, and strategic priorities for BCD Travel. Perform expert-level qualitative and financial analysis. Evaluate the country's financial statements for accuracy or shortfall to budget, and work with the General Manager to resolve discrepancies. Oversee the country General Manager's report on progress and performance of the country against budget and targets through the presentation of financial information and business review. Oversee new and renewal contract negotiations with clients, airline vendors, and GDS systems, supporting the negotiation process for the development of Service Level Agreements that are win-win for BCD Travel and the client. Be the sponsor of policies, service standards, and procedures (functional management process, functional business planning, escalation, and authorization procedures, etc.). Maintain current state-of-the-art information relative to the airline and travel industries. About you: Minimum 20 years' experience in corporate travel, with at least 12 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of travel agency operations and global travel account management.
