Global Finance Manager

Fuel50 is scaling fast, and we’re looking for a group/global finance manager to help drive our next phase of growth. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial, operational, and strategic direction of the company. Reporting to the CFOO, you will own the day-to-day finance function and be an asset to the CFOO. The successful candidate will have good technical accounting knowledge, is ambitious, would like to enhance their knowledge within the SaaS space and has the ability to train and develop existing staff. The Global Finance Manager will take responsibility and ownership of the day to day management of the accounting, payroll and tax functions and delivery of financial information (with CFOO review and input) so the CFOO can focus on strategic items to continue delivering business growth. - Degree in Finance & Accounting, and CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Ability to continue developing and upskilling the existing finance team
- Experienced in SaaS metrics reporting requirements
- Three to five years experience in a finance or accounting position, preferably a CA or equivalent, ideally with some offshore accounting experience and Big 4 background.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, both US GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, Xero, Smart Payroll, and TriNet preferred
- As the business continues to grow, we will likely review our tools and would like you to be part of the change management for any new tools or software used
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations in the US, UK and NZ
- Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects
- Ability to perform to a high level and the deliver quality reporting within tight timeframes
